On the 21st of May, Year 3 went on an excursion to the city. We went to the Sydney Royal Botanical Gardens as a follow-up to our Term 1 unit 'Plants in Action'. After our lessons, Year 3 walked to Circular Quay and stood on the steps of the Sydney Opera House taking in Sydney Harbour's significant sites, admiring the impressive Sydney Harbour Bridge and exciting Luna Park at Milson's Point. In our Term 2 unit 'Australia You're Standing In It' the children will explore the many significant sites, natural and built, that Australia has to offer.
